Lindsey consults, and advises independent creatives, productions, companies, agencies, film orgs and festivals on disabled-led creativity and storytelling, and initiatives to improve representation, equity, inclusion and accessibility. She is a sought-after guest speaker.

She offers training and workshops in disability inclusion, equity and accessibility in the film and TV industry, and Disability Justice (in partnership with Kyla Harris), and uniquely this training comes from an active filmmaking perspective. She consults on a sliding-scale basis for independent creatives and productions, and offers set rates for companies, orgs, and larger entities. Clients include Channel 4, BFI, Archewell Productions, Grain Media, Violet Films, DANC/Triple C, Vancouver International Film Festival.

She is a co-founder and board member of FWD-Doc, a member of Queer Producers Collective and QueerDoc, and a member of the BFI’s Disability Screen Advisory Group. She led the creation of the FWD-Doc Toolkit for Inclusion & Accessibility: Changing the Narrative of Disability in Documentary Film, in association with Doc Society supported by Netflix, and the FWD-Doc Engagement Pack, in association with the BFI Doc Society Fund.

Alongside her filmmaking practice, Lindsey conducts field-building research and has a background in impact strategy and academia. She is a former Lecturer, has delivered impact case studies (Creative Practice As Research / CPaR), led award-winning film impact campaigns, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), in addition to holding a First Class undergraduate degree from Goldsmiths.
